This year’s theme, “We Emerge Stronger and Better,” reflects the spirit of Emirati women who do not see achievement as an endpoint or success as a final destination, but embrace each as a responsibility to continue progressing and strengthening their impact on their nation and community. Emirati women emerge stronger through their knowledge, determination and values, and they emerge better when they transform the trust and opportunities placed in them into meaningful contributions that touch people’s lives and health and help build a more prosperous future for generations to come.
As an Emirati woman, I am proud to be part of a nation that has always believed in women’s capabilities, and to be guided by a leadership that has empowered women with the trust and opportunity to advance, lead and serve their communities. Across the healthcare sector, I see the impact of Emirati women every day, as doctors, nurses, researchers, innovators and leaders; and in every woman who, through her work, expertise, and compassion, contributes not only to treating illness, but to protecting people’s health, advancing knowledge and developing proactive and personalised solutions that are shaping the future of health in Abu Dhabi.
We remain committed to honouring this trust and continuing to work with dedication and ambition preserving what has been achieved, building upon it and contributing to a healthier, stronger and more prosperous nation for generations to come.
